Selene invisible menstrual panties are designed for medium flow. By medium menstrual flow, we mean: blood loss between 30 and 50 ml (2 to 3 tablespoons) per cycle; blood loss that requires less than one sanitary protection (pad, tampon or cup) every three hours.
Performing, the Selene invisible menstrual panty offers up to 12 hours of protection. It is made of 3 different technical materials for a draining, absorbent, waterproof and breathable result. In practice, it is the assurance of a reliable period pant, without leakage, odour or wetness;.
At SMOON, we estimate that 5 period panties is a good average to feel comfortable throughout the menstrual cycle. A supply of 5 panties allows you to space out the washing and provides enough margin for drying time. To be absolutely sure, you can also mix and match models according to their level of absorption by choosing: an ultra-absorbent menstrual underwear for the first few days of your period and at night; a shorty or high-waisted period pants specializing in medium flow for the middle of the menstrual cycle; a menstrual thong specializing in light flow for the last few days of the cycle.
Selene is worn without other hygienic protections. Very absorbent, these invisible menstrual underwear are able to retain a quantity of blood equivalent to 2 conventional tampons. This high absorption power allows you to stay serene for 12 hours straight. In exceptional circumstances, it is possible to combine it with a cup or a tampon.

Whatever their color, our invisible period wear panties are easy to wash. Like most of our models, the Selene menstrual underwear can be worn for a maximum of twelve hours. It must then be removed, rinsed and washed. Depending on your tastes, you can choose your Selene SMOON in the following colors: black, midnight blue, burgundy, beige, brown, terracotta, green, or blood orange. All can be washed by hand or by machine. They dry in the open air in the blink of an eye thanks to their construction in technical fibers.
On average, the lifespan of Selene invisible period panties is five years. To be sure that your Selene follows you throughout your next 65 cycles, follow our care advice: rinsing with water, washing with a mild but not greasy soap, drying in the open air. Banish fabric softeners, the spin program, the dryer and the iron.
