OEKO-TEX®
Standard 100
All our products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified in our name. This certification ensures that each item is subjected to strict controls to verify that any potentially present substances comply with tolerance thresholds defined by a rigorous specification.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified items pose no health risk while possibly containing substances in non-toxic amounts.
Organic cotton
All our cotton menstrual panties are made from certified organic cotton, which guarantees:
environmentally friendly production conditions, respecting social protection rules for the people involved in the harvesting and processing of cotton.
PFAS, what is it?
PFAS are a family of more than 14,000 chemical substances used to make textiles resistant to water, grease, and stains. They are also found in food packaging, non-stick pans, and some cosmetics.
The problem
For the environment: Almost indestructible, they accumulate in the soil, air, and water.
For health: related to hormonal disturbances, decreased fertility, immune system disorders, or certain cancers.
At Smoon
All our products are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, which prohibits the use of harmful substances.
To go further, we have commissioned an independent laboratory to test each textile layer.
Result: no PFAS detected in our products, even at trace levels.
