When you’re lying down, your flow no longer follows the same path. It runs toward the back, where a pad ends and where most period products don’t extend high enough.
That’s why you can be perfectly protected all day and still wake up with a stain in the morning.
Your flow while lying down
When lying down, the flow rises above the absorbent area. That’s where the leak occurs, almost always at the back.
The absorbent area extends well beyond this point. You can turn over and sleep on your back—the protection follows you.
The problem was never your flow. It’s the shape of the protection.
The Smoon Night Boxer extends the absorbent area across the front AND back, right up to the edges of the garment. Not just a gusset: a surface designed for lying down.
The result: you can turn over, sleep on your back or on your stomach. The protection stays where you need it.
What wakes you up at night isn’t leakage. It’s the feeling of dampness. Our three fabrics are designed for that.
The layer in contact with your skin immediately wicks fluid toward the absorbent core. You stay dry all night.
The technical core retains the flow and locks it in, even when lying down and even under the pressure of the body.
The outer layer prevents leaks onto the sheets while allowing the skin to breathe. No greenhouse effect.
For those nights when you double up on protection and still wake up. The boxer is designed primarily for nights like these.
Hotel, weekend at friends’ place, business trip. Sleep in sheets that aren’t yours without giving it a second thought.
Postpartum, endometriosis, perimenopause: when your flow is no longer what you’re used to, your protection should adapt.
When you sleep little, every wake-up counts. You can do without this one.
Many women add a pad at night, just to be safe. After years of leaks, confidence doesn’t return overnight.
So go ahead. Keep your pad the first night if it reassures you. You’ll see for yourself that it was dry in the morning.
Usually, it’s on the second or third night that you stop doubling up. Without even thinking about it.

You can really sleep peacefully. No leaks, super-thick protection, and yet it’s not uncomfortable.
Very comfortable for sleeping peacefully all night.
I love not having to worry about possible leaks at night.
A pair of boxer briefs should be rinsed, washed, and air-dried. To cover your nights of heavy flow without doing emergency laundry, plan on two to three pairs.
The most full-coverage nighttime protection in the range. An expanded absorbent zone at the front and back, seamless.
It rises at the front and back, up to the edges of the boxer briefs. That’s exactly what changes when lying down: the flow moves toward the back, and the area is there to catch it. A classic pair of underwear, on the other hand, stops at the bottom.
A full night. Depending on your flow, the boxer provides up to 12 hours of protection. With a very heavy flow, allow for an 8-hour night instead, as with any period product.
Yes. And if you prefer to double up the first night, do so: it’s the best way to check for yourself that the pad was dry in the morning.
No. The moisture-wicking layer channels the flow toward the absorbent core, and the waterproof layer prevents leakage. Overnight, there is no noticeable odor.
No. The absorbent area is spread over a larger surface, making it thinner, not thicker. The seamless technology doesn’t show under clothing.
Rinse with cold water until the water runs clear, then machine wash at 30°C in a mesh laundry bag. Air-dry, never tumble-dry.
Air-dry them without using a tumble dryer: allow several hours, or longer in a poorly ventilated room. That’s why we recommend having two or three—the time one takes to dry, another is ready.
The boxer fits like our period panties: if you already wear them, choose the same size. Otherwise, measure your waist and hip circumference and refer to the size guide.
