To celebrate the launch of our maternity range, we are hosting a whole week of events dedicated to moms, expectant moms, and dads at the Gynécée house*! Workshops to support you through your postpartum period and this new life with your baby, conferences to open up discussions and answer all your questions, and fitness classes to maintain your well-being and balance.
Each workshop is carefully prepared and led by Gynécée professionals specializing in women's health.

Conference - mental health, body, and sexuality

In this talk, Charlotte will offer ways to help you reconnect with your body and reclaim it. We will also discuss sexuality during the postpartum period, a topic that worries many new mothers. We will address the pressures and demands for perfection that cause guilt and discourage women.

On the agenda: Understanding your baby’s rhythm - Learning the best practices to implement from the moment you return home from the hospital to promote your baby’s sleep and help them sleep through the night when they are ready.

WORKSHOP - FIRST AID ACTIONS
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25 - 6pm-8pm
Led by Christelle Yomba - Pediatric Nurse
A workshop to introduce you to life-saving techniques. During this workshop, you will learn how to recognize an emergency situation, alert, respond, and protect! You will discover the right actions to take and the proper attitudes. This way, you will be able to react to both minor and more serious difficulties you might encounter with your baby. We will also discuss common illnesses (colds, fevers, stomach flu...) and their risks of worsening, along with the measures you can take. I will advise you on the best times to go to the emergency room or to wait and see a doctor. This workshop is to be done before or after birth.

CONFERENCE - How to Prepare Well for Your Postpartum Period

To better navigate this period, we offer you this conference to help you prepare, starting from pregnancy! Because we are always more effective when we understand, we will begin by explaining what happens in the body and brain during this time and how it can make us vulnerable. Then, we will review natural techniques to take care of yourself through diet and lifestyle before focusing on some typical issues of this period and natural ways to reduce them: hair loss, fatigue, low libido, scars, and of course postpartum depression.

FUTURE DADS WORKSHOP

The goal of this workshop is to provide you with practical tools, inform you, and give you tips to help you feel ready! This workshop for future and new dads was founded by Gilles Vaquier de Labaume. The content is based on essential actions around the baby from 0 to 6 months, including diaper changing, bathing, hygiene care, carrying in arms, swaddling, soothing positions for your baby, colic, weight, first teeth, and many more.

Sports class - Baby yoga

Mom-and-baby yoga is a special time to build strong bonds with your child and share a moment of relaxation. The poses are tailored to the specific needs of mothers after childbirth on a physical, emotional, and mental level. They help you gently reconnect with your body. This practice is possible before pelvic floor rehabilitation.

A gentle class to reconnect with your body after childbirth, take time to breathe and stretch. This class is suitable for everyone from the time of delivery. It can be done before starting your pelvic floor rehabilitation with medical approval.
