- First of all, we recommend washing your menstrual shorts before you wear them for the first time. After each use, we recommend rinsing with cold water.
- To wash it, you can choose to wash it by hand or machine wash it at 30°C maximum.
- Then let your shorts air dry.
Avoid: greasy detergents and soaps (e.g. Marseille soap), fabric softener and the tumble dryer.

How do I use menstrual shorts?
A menstrual short is worn like any other sportswear, except that it contains a built-in underwear! No need to wear a menstrual panty under your black period shorts, just put the shorts on to play sports.
There is also no need to wear additional periodical protection (sanitary napkin, cup or tampon), the menstrual shorts are enough to keep you dry and protected during your workout.
When should I change my period shorts?

Do period shorts work?
The very comfortable menstrual panty camouflaged under our period shorts is made of three standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® materials layered together:

These high-performance materials are effective regardless of your menstrual flow and will allow you to practice the sport you love without question.
Menstrual flow varies over the course of a cycle, day, or activity. Our menstrual underwear is able to absorb any amount of flow over a longer period of time than disposable sanitary protection.
What size for menstrual shorts?
Choose to wear your period shorts in your usual size. Our size guide will help you do that.
The soft, breathable, highly absorbent materials of our period panties are slightly sheathing, and may relax with the first wash. That's why we recommend you buy them in your usual size to guarantee :

How do you wash menstrual shorts?
In order to keep your rules shorts black as long as possible, it is essential to respect some washing instructions:
- Start by rinsing your menstrual underwear with cold water to remove any blood from it. Don't stop until the water is completely clear. Do not use any products at this stage, water is enough.
- Wash your menstrual shorts as your menstrual panties, in a machine at cold or at 30 degrees maximum, with the rest of your linen. Use your usual washing powder, after having checked that it did not contain neither soap of Marseille, neither soap of Alep, nor glycerin. Indeed, these products end up clogging the absorbent zone and reduce the life of your menstrual underwear.
- Air dry the shorts. Do not use a dryer, which would damage the fibers of the menstrual panties incorporated in the garment.
Can I swim with my period shorts?
Our ultra-technical materials are certified standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® and are not designed to go in the water. We therefore advise against using our rules shorts when swimming in the sea or pool.
